As they go down the track, competitors will pass the four-minute marker before heading back up to the Trout Hatchery (10). They will need a powerful canter as they approach the log trailer that sits at the top of the slope. The ground drops away after the jump and takes them down into the water. Going down the incline, a controlled canter will be needed as the right-hand brush corner will come up quickly. They need to keep their line and jump this very positively as they continue up the slope to the log trailer that jumps back into the second pool. The horses will probably suck back over this as there is a large drop into water, followed by narrow triple brush in the water three strides later.
