2021 Event Update

Defender Burghley Horse Trials remains fully committed to presenting a full four days of 5 star competition this September amidst the wonderful backdrop of Burghley Park. As always, the safety of all connected with our Event remains paramount and, given that there is no current forecast re. the holding of mass gathering sporting events, we acknowledge that LRBHT 2021 would be a very different offering to that of previous years.

In the meantime, we can assure all of our visitors that we will do all that we can within the parameters of whatever guidelines we are given to mount four days of competition, shopping and pure enjoyment so that the “LRBHT Experience” is there for all visitors during the four days – albeit not in the traditional format or landscape so firmly established over the last 60 years.

We are looking forward to the challenge of those wonderful four days from September 2^nd – September 5^th 2021. As always, we will have all breaking news here on the website.
