ARIAT TO SPONSOR BIG SCREENS AT BURGHLEY
Clothing and footwear brand Ariat will be official sponsors of the big screens showing all the eventing action at Defender Burghley Horse Trials (29 August-3 September).
Ariat, who are sponsoring at Defender Burghley for the first time, will also have a large tradestand at the Lincolnshire CCI5* event selling country, western and work apparel as well as a selection of their western and work footwear.
Ariat was founded in 1993 by former Stanford MBA classmates Beth Cross and Pam Parker, with the visionary goal of integrating athletic shoe performance technology into riding boots. Ariat now also brings the technical expertise used to revolutionise English and Western footwear and apparel into its country and work ranges.
Melanie Selman, European Marketing Manager for Ariat, said: “We’re delighted to become the official sponsor of the big screens at the Defender Burghley Horse Trials and are very much looking forward to partnering with this iconic event. We’re thrilled to be at the 2023 event and seeing many of our customers, both old and new, on our stand or watching the action on one of the Ariat big screens.”
Defender Burghley Director Martyn Johnson said: “Ariat is one of the equestrian world’s most recognised companies, and we are very pleased that they are joining us this year. Four of the highly visible big screens on-site will be bearing Ariat branding. And, of course, many of the top riders competing at Burghley are closely associated with Ariat, such as six-times winner William Fox-Pitt.”
