Fairfax & Favor announced as official sponsor for the 2022 Defender Burghley Horse Trials
Leading British fashion brand Fairfax & Favor has further demonstrated its support for British equestrian sport by announcing a new partnership with Defender Burghley Horse Trials – considered to be the ultimate contest for horse and rider.
Fairfax & Favor will sponsor a new fence on Burghley’s renowned cross-country course – the Fairfax & Favor Boot Racks – designed for the first time this year by leading US course-designer Derek di Grazia. The brand will have its largest-ever Burghley trade stand at the 2022 event, with the additional space used to showcase its signature footwear, accessories and clothing. A particular highlight will be the launch of Fairfax & Favor’s limited edition Burghley collection of tan and olive boots, bags and accessories.
Defender Burghley Horse Trials takes place in Stamford, Lincolnshire each September and returns this year after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid 19 pandemic. The event is situated within the magnificent parkland of Burghley House and typically attracts 170,000 visitors over a four-day period. Defender Burghley is renowned not only as a major international televised sporting event, but also as the premier occasion in the autumn social calendar.
This year (1st – 4th September 2022) up to 80 elite international horse and rider combinations will be taking part. Many will then be heading off to represent their nations at the FEI Eventing World Championships in Pratoni del Vivaro, Italy.
