
Stallions on parade
The cream of British sport horse breeding were showcased today when the stallion parade took place in the House Arena immediately after the Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse five-year-old final.

This year's display featured 12 magnificent stallions, including one son of the only stallion to have won Badminton, Chilli Morning: Pencos Arctic King is out of the Rock King mare, Cornish Queen, who produced Badminton and Burghley winner, individual European Champion and Olympic gold medallist Lordships Graffalo. Rock King was competed at Badminton by Sarah Bullen.
Catherston Stud presented two stallions, Catherston Oakley (pictured) and Timolin, as did Caunton Manor Stud – Comfort and Diacondrik, both originally produced by Oliver Townend.
Also parading were Centaur Joseph, Dunhill Desert Storm, Future Hepsilon, Future Gravitas, KL Mac, Pennineview Silver Concorde and Upsi Britannia, who is by Upsilon out of multiple five-star winner Headley Britannia's daughter, Little Britannia.
