All-Star Line-Up Revealed For Sunday 6th September
Clare Balding To Host Star Studded Celebration
Pippa Funnell, Sir Mark Todd, Oliver Townend and five-time Olympian Carl Hester MBE will headline the all-star cast of our feature programme at 3pm on Sunday 6th September.
The full Sunday line-up includes: Strictly Dressage with the maestro Carl Hester MBE and Nick Burton, Sir Mark Todd gives an insight into his new career, Pippa Funnell invites us to The Billy Stud and the World No.1, Oliver Townend reveals how he dealt with lockdown and is adapting to the new normal for Eventers. Our host, Clare Balding, discusses the Road To Tokyo with Dickie Waygood and Henry Bullen, we hear from the Virtual Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse winners and Clare Balding meets the new Defender Burghley Course Designer Derek di Grazia and bids farewell to Captain Mark Phillips as they talk Cross Country.
Throughout the programme we will be counting down to the Ultimate Burghley Champion and taking you on a Burghley Odyssey, reflecting on some of the most memorable moments of the Event’s past.
